LOCATION
The Pylon Lookout & Museum is located within the Sydney Harbour Bridge South-East Pylon.
Opening hours

The Pylon Lookout and Museum is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am – 2pm.
We recommend entering no later than 1.30pm to ensure you have time to enjoy the Museum and Lookout experience. Last entry is at 1.45pm
FROM 24 SEPTEMBER 2022 ONWARDS
The Pylon Lookout and Museum will open daily from 10am to 4pm
We recommend entering no later than 3.30pm to ensure you have time to enjoy the Museum and Lookout experience. Last entry is at 3.45pm.

- From The Rocks – take the Harbour Bridge lift or stairs from Cumberland Street, located opposite The Glenmore Hotel. Turn right and walk North along the pedestrian footpath for 300 metres until you reach the South-East Pylon entrance.
- From Milsons Point – head to the Bridge footpath via the stairs or lift and walk South for 800m to reach the Pylon entrance.

How do I get to the Pylon Lookout & Museum?

Is there a lift to the top?
There is no lift inside the Pylon, you will be required to walk up over 200 steps to reach the top.
How high is the Lookout Level?
The Lookout level reaches 87m above sea level, that’s halfway to the Summit of the Bridge!
What ages is the Pylon Lookout & Museum suitable for?
The Pylon is suitable for all ages, as long as you’re comfortable ascending the 200 stairs to the top.
Can I buy a ticket at the door?
Yes, visitors can purchase a general admission ticket at the Pylon entry level.
Is the Pylon COVIDSafe?
Yes, BridgeClimb is a registered COVIDSafe business and we have protocols in place to ensure your safety during your visit to the Pylon. Read more about COVID19 Health & Safety here.
Are there toilets at the Pylon?
Yes, there are toilets within the Pylon, as well as a gift shop where you can purchase refreshments.
Can I reschedule my visit after booking online?
Tickets are non-refundable, however you are able to change the date of your visit free of charge, to any time within 3 months of your original visit date, by calling our team on 1300 90 80 57.
