DISCOVER THE HISTORY OF THE SYDNEY HARBOUR BRIDGE

There’s so much children can learn about the iconic Harbour Bridge. Did you know that the Pylons actually serve no structural purpose in the design and construction of the Bridge? And that over 6 million rivets were used in it’s construction?

Education surrounding the design and construction of this famous landmark will not only contribute to students’ understanding of Australian history, but also provide them with a unique learning opportunity they can cherish for years to come.

YOUR TOUR

Both guided and self-guided tours are available. Start by walking along the pedestrian walkway of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and make your way to the South-East Pylon. If you have booked a guided tour, here, you will be greeted by your expert Tour Guide, who will take you on a journey back in time to uncover the history of the Bridge and the uses of the Pylon since the 1930s. The tour will end at the Lookout level (87 metres above sea level) where students can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of Sydney Harbour. We have been working with schools for many years and have comprehensive Risk Assessments and Public Liability Insurance documents we will provide you with, to assist you in planning your excursion.
